About Domino's Pizza
Domino’s Pizza, located at 1347 Tavern Rd, Alpine, CA 91901, is a well-established restaurant specializing in pizza and chicken, offering both delivery and takeout services. With a phone contact of +1 619-324-0361, this location is part of a globally recognized brand that has revolutionized the pizza industry since its inception in 1960. Founded by Tom and James Monaghan in Ypsilanti, Michigan, Domino’s began as a small pizzeria named DomiNick’s before evolving into a powerhouse in fast, convenient pizza delivery[1][3][4].
The business model that Domino’s pioneered focused heavily on speed and reliability, famously promising pizza delivery within 30 minutes or the pizza was free. This commitment to quick service helped Domino’s rapidly expand throughout the 1970s and 1980s, establishing itself as a leader in the pizza delivery market alongside competitors like Pizza Hut and Papa John’s[1][3]. The first franchise store opened in 1967, marking the beginning of a vast network that now includes over 13,200 franchises worldwide[1].
Domino’s Pizza in Alpine, CA, continues this legacy by providing customers with a variety of menu options that include not only their signature pizzas but also chicken dishes, catering to diverse tastes. The restaurant offers convenient delivery and takeout services, ensuring that customers can enjoy their meals in the comfort of their homes or on the go. This dual service model reflects Domino’s ongoing commitment to accessibility and customer satisfaction[1][6].
Innovation has been a cornerstone of Domino’s success. The company introduced the Domino’s Pizza Tracker in 2008, a groundbreaking technology that allows customers to monitor their order status in real-time, enhancing transparency and trust in the delivery process[5]. Additionally, Domino’s has continuously updated its menu to meet evolving consumer preferences, introducing new crust styles, toppings, and non-pizza items such as breadsticks and buffalo wings, which have become popular staples[5].
Domino’s growth is supported by a robust supply chain that ensures consistent quality and availability of ingredients across all locations, including the Alpine restaurant. This infrastructure allows Domino’s to maintain high standards in food preparation and delivery efficiency, reinforcing its reputation for reliability and taste[1].
The Alpine location embodies Domino’s core values of putting people first, doing the right thing, and creating inspired solutions to meet customer needs. Whether through speedy delivery, friendly service, or quality food, Domino’s Pizza at 1347 Tavern Rd strives to uphold the brand’s global reputation while serving the local community with dedication and care[6].
In summary, Domino’s Pizza in Alpine, CA, is more than just a pizza restaurant; it is part of a global network that has shaped the pizza delivery industry through innovation, quality, and customer-centric service. With its comprehensive menu, efficient delivery and takeout options, and a commitment to excellence, this Domino’s location continues to be a trusted choice for residents seeking delicious pizza and chicken meals delivered quickly and reliably.

Domino's is my favorite pizza joint, so I am so excited to have one here in Alpine! I used to drive 20 minutes to the nearest one before. Ordered two pizzas - custom, and an ExtravaganZZa - and a pasta. Pizzas were *chef's kiss* as per usual. I love Domino's seasonings on their hand-tossed crust the best, but their new stuffed crust option is also good. I will say that the pasta I ordered came with very little sauce, if any 😅 Still yummy, but practically a warm macaroni salad with chicken on it 🤣

It was odd enough that we can’t place delivery orders over $50 on the app to be paid cash. But they’d let us call in and do it that way. So inconvenient, but we got around it. But now I’m sitting here waiting for 6 pizzas that weren’t ready at the promised time. I preordered earlier this morning, giving them 4 hours to prepare this order. Now it’s going to be over 20 minutes late. Most likely, the kids at the event will have to go without their pizza because I won’t get there in time. I considered getting the pizza early, but I didn’t want them to get cold. In hindsight, cold pizza would be better than no pizza. Very disappointing. I’ll be getting my pizza in El Cajon from now on.

Called on Valentines Day asking if they could make heart shaped pizzas and was told they could. I placed the order online with the request and then did not see it on my order. I called to request the heart shape and was then told they were not doing it because they were too busy, and our food was already made. That was the whole reason we ordered from them as we wanted to do something special for our kids. Really disappointed in being misled, if I had known that we would have ordered from somewhere else.

Domino's FOR THE LOVE OF PIZZA UPDATE YOUR APP- THE OPTION TO HAVE IT UNCUT DEFALTS BACK TO CUT WHEN YOU CHECK OUT. I keep coming back because the pizza is good but damnit corporate fix your app! Delicious pizza- best in town for sure however, nobody bothers to read the ordering instructions. I've ordered pizza at least once or twice a month and every time I put in uncut and well done. Today I even called and said please don't cut the pizza, whomever answered repeated it back to me, I replied correct. Pizza arrives cut 😠 The driver Jayden(very sweet) called the Manager- Dylan he tried to make it seem as if I messed up my own order- not the case simply because I ordered it the same way every time. At this point I will just go elsewhere to enjoy pizza. I don't want it remade- just make it right the first time by reading the damn imstructions.
